This video shows how to make a tambour box using a band saw. Typically, tambour boxes are made using a table saw and a router, but these two machines are not considered safe tools for older amateur woodworkers, and besides their loud roar makes it impossible to enjoy late-night woodworking. On the other hand, a band saw is a relatively safe tool, and its gentle sound is even pleasant. I put away my table saw and router 25 years ago and since then I’ve mainly been using band saws to enjoy woodworking. Of course, working in the middle of the night is a blissful experience. I hope that aged woodworking enthusiasts in a similar situation to me will watch it. @hisa888yam #tambour door box
